Claim Validation

A claim's validation level is determined and enforced by a set of claim validation rules.

Whenever a change is made to a claim, the validation rules determine if the claim can be advanced to a later stage of validation. The validation rules also prevent a claim from moving backwards to a lower level of validation.

Think of evidence as the supports that buttress your claim, making it more solid than it would be alone

In fact, if you make a claim or an argument without evidence, your paper could appear to be unsupported opinion or not particularly well-researched.
